Arts Festival

This is the Upper Sixth chance to showcase their final projects across all our art based projects. From hand-crafted garments in Textiles to short films in Media & Film. This is the perfect event to discover what our students have created over the past 2 years and what inspired them to get this to this final stage...

Tech Shop

Located at the IT Helpdesk.

Charging cables, storage devices, student cards & printer credit.

Stationary Shop

Located at Student Reception.

Calculators, dividers, flash cards and all the usual stationary.

Cash and card accepted.

Free Sanitary Products

Located at Student Reception.

Discreetly pick up pads, tampons, & reusable pads.

If you find yourself in need, pop to Student Reception to ensure you can go confidently and comfortably through you day.

Sexual Health Clinic

Located at Student Services every Tuesday & Thursday breaktime.

Pick up free condoms, pregnancy tests, chlamydia & gonorrhoea testing kits, & get open and honest advice.

If you are unable to make those breaktimes please email Holly (hop@godalming.ac.uk) to arrange a time.

Do I qualify?

If you are struggling to meet the costs of food, transport, course related equipment or college trips, then you should consider applying to our Bursary Fund.

To begin the process click on this box which will redirect you to the College Bursary page which will highlight who does and does not qualify for bursary.

Pay My Student Portal

Click here to access our Bursary Portal, which you should use to apply to the Bursary Fund, and then to regularly claim your expenses once your application has been approved. The guidance on how to use the Portal to apply can be found on the College website.

Free School Meals

As part of the Bursary Fund the College also operates Free School Meals. If you qualify you will be entitled to up to £4 a day of food and drink from the College’s catering facilities. Students will need to use their College ID Card to obtain their free meals allowance.

Transport Help

The Bursary Fund is able to cover public transport costs to College if you live over 2 miles away.

We recommend purchasing a 16-17 saver card or Surrey Student Travel Card to gain reduced ticket prices; the initial cost of purchasing these cards can be reimbursed by the Bursary Fund

Laptops & Equipment

Godalming College encourages a 'Bring Your Own Device' policy. However we understand that some students may not be able to afford this. The Bursary Fund distributes College purchased laptops, which you can keep to help support your studies in the future. Students are also eligible for both Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for free while a student of Godalming College.

Trips & Visits

The Bursary Fund will pay for compulsory course related trips.

If you are going to incur costs from attending an industry placement, university interview or open day then we may be able to help. We are able to offer reimbursement of public transport costs for the student to travel to their destination.

Trains

College is a 15 minute walk from Godalming train station.

Rail cards are available from South Western Railway:

16-18 annual student fare card

Buses

The College runs two bus services, one from Liphook and one from Farnham. Click here to view the route and timetable. Annual tickets can be purchased by emailing finance@godalming.ac.uk

Parking at College

Limited parking spaces are available for students. Permit applications are available from Student Reception. They must be filled out, signed by a parent or guardian, and returned to Student Reception along with evidence of a valid driving license.

Motorbikes & Mopeds

You can apply for a parking permit, when applying fill the form in and the form will be processed by Security. You will need to use your ID Card to gain access to the back gate where the motorbike parking bays are located.

Please indicate on the form that you are applying for a motorbike permit, rather then a car,

Cycle to College

You can store your bike at the bike shed provided behind the 200s. This can be accessed by cycling through the front staff car park and going through the side gate to the left hand side of the Main Building (100s)

All staff & students get 1TB (1000GB) of free cloud storage. These files can be accessed anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. Click here and log in with your College credentials.
