screencastomatic

This software allows you to capture whatever is on your screen including a commentary from you and then save it as a video file.  We have a site licence for 100 different PCs per month.

How to use the software:

  • Go to http://screencast-o-matic.com/godalmingcollege
  • Click Download Install
  • At the bottom of the screen press Run
  • Then Next and Finish
  • When Screen-cast-o-matic box comes up press "Site licence"
  • For the access url enter:  http://screencast-o-matic.com/godalmingcollege
  • Press submit
  • Enter the password tuesleylane and then submit
  • You are now ready to record
  • Once you have recorded a video you can save it as a video file and then upload it to eStream or you can upload it to YouTube if you have a College YouTube account. Alternatively upload your file to the GoL Moodle repository and make a link to it on your course page.  The instructions to this are below:
