Code of Conduct
The ILC is a food and drink free zone, only water bottles are allowed.
The ILC is a quiet area – please ensure that your phone is switched to silent.
Please remember to bring your College ID card with you every day. You will need it for borrowing books and DVDs and to access printing and photocopying facilities.
The Silent Study Area on the Second Floor of the ILC is a completely silent study area. Please ensure that your phone is switched to silent. This is also a food and drink free zone.
Please consider others – you are expected to behave responsibly, to show respect and consideration to all staff and students.
Please ensure you tidy your study area when leaving.
If on leaving the ILC the security alarm is triggered, you must return to the Issue Desk at once where the matter will be dealt with as quickly as possible. You will be asked to produce your ID card and may be asked to empty your bag.
By using the computers in the ILC, you are bound by the College rules and regulation concerning their use.
For the benefit of other users, anyone causing a problem in the ILC will be asked to leave.
Anyone causing continual disruption in the ILC will be reported to their Personal and Senior Tutors.
Please remember that the ILC Staff are here to help and support you throughout your studies and to maintain a quiet studious environment for all.
