  Office 365 is available to all current students and staff to use online or install on up to 5 devices.

  While studying at the college all students are entiltled to install Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus on their personal devices.  This includes up to 5 PC's or Macs, and 5 mobile devices such as Android or Apple tablets.  

  IMPORTANT - When you leave College any installed applications will become unlicensed, you will only be able to read documents but not create, edit or save (this only applies to documents saved on your own device, documents saved on OneDrive will not be accessible after you leave).  Any documents stored on a College drive or on OneDrive will not be accessible once you leave College.  It will not be possible to retrieve any of these documents, please copy documents to a personal storage area before you leave College.

  Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus includes the latest versions of: ​W​ord, ​Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access

• How to login to Office 365
  • The Office 365 link is: https://login.microsoftonline.com/

    To use Office 365, click on the link https://login.microsoftonline.com/ and login with your College email address and College password. 

    Once logged in you have the option to using the online applications or you can install Office 2016 on up to 5 PC's, Macs and mobile devices such as Android or Apple tablets.

    OneDrive is available to use to store files, however the College does not support or backup this facility and you should make sure you back-up any files you store on OneDrive elsewhere.  IMPORTANT: When you are no longer a student or member of staff your files will be deleted.

    

• Office 365 Forms for Questionnaires and Quizzes
  • "With Microsoft Forms, you can create surveys, quizzes, and polls, and easily see results as they come in. When you create a quiz or form, you can invite others to respond to it using any web browser, even on mobile devices. As results are submitted, you can use built-in analytics to evaluate responses. Form data, such as quiz results, can be easily exported to Excel for additional analysis or grading." https://support.office.com/en-gb/forms

    To create a new Questionnaire or Quiz:

    • Login to Office 365 with your College email address and password
    • Select Forms
    • Select New Form or New Quiz
    • Add your questions and a theme
    • Once you have previewed it and are happy you can share it
    • In Settings you can decide whether the form is only open to people at Godalming College email address or everyone.  There is also an option to set a start and end date, shuffle questions etc.
    • The Responses can be view in the Responses tab and they can be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet.
