Everything below is taken from other advice currently in the NEA resources folder... I actually agree with the Exam board in not giving checklists as it encourages a minimalist approach rather than really learning from the experience BUT I thought that unpicking the Mark Scheme here would be useful...
From the AQA Advice:
- a clear statement that describes the problem area and the specific problem being solved/investigated
- an outline of how the problem was researched
- a statement indicating who the problem is being solved/investigated for
- background in sufficient detail for a third party to understand the problem being solved/ investigated.

As always a look at exemplars from the past should help.. The current requirements of this chapter are not very different from previous specs'
