Exam Preparation
Exam Preparation Tip #3 - on the day...
BREAK
Stay calm!
Depending on the exam and how confident you feel about your revision, you might be feeling absolutely fine; don’t let anyone you talk to before the exam put you off! (Avoid talking to people, if necessary.)
BREAK
If you’re feeling nervous:
BREAK
- Practice breathing slowly to force your body and brain to relax – 'Darth Vader’ breath, or ujjayi breathing is good to learn. See the suggested YouTube instructional video below.

BREAK - Put the exam in perspective – you can always retake, even after you leave college.
BREAK - Failure is NEVER an ending.
BREAK - There are people running £multi-million companies who dropped out of school without any qualifications. These exams will not define who you will be, they will simply help you to decide the future path to who you will become.
BREAK - Have a quick scan over your page of important exam revision notes.
BREAK - Smile. Everyone else will think you’re feeling confident. Smile again. Everyone else, in that moment, is more ignorant than you... ;)
