After today's announcement, It is clear that it will be down to our internal data and teacher assessment combined with past data that the exam board has (don't ask me about that) in what the Final Grade for your A-Level will be:
The mechanism for this has not been released! Please don't contact me asking what you grade will be!
HOWEVER!!! your NEA is a key element of the work this year. I will be able to use it as hard evidence to support the grade I recommend to the exam board.
It is possible that the exam board will still moderate this element.
As the vast majority of you have completed or nearly completed your NEA, and from what I have seen these projects are of high quality. it is worth you making that final push and uploading the completed version.
It is extremely likely that your final NEA submission will be able to be used as evidence on which to judge your U6 performance. It won't be the only data we use!
The exam boards and college will be publishing the process in the next few days.
I appreciate that this is a difficult time and that the uncertainty must be stressful, please be assured that we will do everything possible to be fair and generous when working through whatever the process is.
