One or more students on a course cannot participate in an activity such as an Assignment or Quiz

In most academic courses on Godalming Online students need to be a member of a Group (Class) to take part in the activity.

Students are automatically enrolled on a course but sometimes they are either not in the correct group or not in one at all.  If they are not in a group at all they may not be able to participate in an activity on the course page.

To add a student to a group or class and therefore allow them to take part in an activity:

• In Administration choose Users-Groups
• Select a Group (class) and then select to Add or remove students from that group
• Changes are saved automatically
