If you are thinking about studying in the USA the the best website to visit is the Fulbright Commission (see link below). This takes you through researching courses and universities (4000 universities & colleges in the US); the various admissions tests (SATs, ACTs); funding and gives guidance on the admissions process, which is different for each university. The Commission also runs regular seminars in London and webinars about the US Admissions process.

NB: If you are registering to sit the SATs, you will be asked for your school's CEEB code. Godalming College is not registered with the US College Board. You simply need to enter all zeros as the CEEB code, and then proceed with the rest of your registration.

  • SAT and ACT Tests  Due to a limited amount of testing centres in the UK, places for these tests fill up very quickly. We strongly encourage students interested in applying for US study who would like to sit the SAT or ACT to register early. Please note, the Fulbright Commission does not administer the exam, you need to register through College Board for the SAT and ACT student for the ACT. Both websites have a lot of useful information and each contains a sample test.  Click here for link to the Fulbright Commission's advice pages.
