The personal statement is an important part of your UCAS application. It’s your chance to describe your ambitions, skills, and experience to university and college admissions staff. Remember the limit is 4000 characters/47 lines. UCAS will run plagiarism software on all personal statements so don't be tempted to copy any examples you have read. The UCAS website has advice on writing personal statements and you can use the UCAS Hub to access a drafting tool.

The Subjects Library in Unifrog can be a good place to start your Personal Statement research as it has information from students currently studying the subject, as well as examples of personal statements.  There is also a personal statement section in the Know How guides, and you can access a Personal Statement builder tool.
