Study Skills Page Introduction
Welcome to the Godalming College Study Skills page.
The Study Skills page has changed. Instead of a collection of external website links and other resources, we have now created a collection of courses based on the main skills that all students should learn. These will help you with your college courses and prepare you for your future studies and careers.

What do the new site changes mean for you?
All students should now work through the Core Study Skills modules. These cover the most essential skills you will need: organisation, time management, prioritising, note-taking, revision and exam preparation.
It is a good idea to complete these within your first year of college, although you can review them at any time. Read through the course material and complete the review quizzes at the end of each module in order complete the course.
You will notice that the courses have other quick activities to complete. Some of these activities are labelled as 'essential' and some are 'optional'. The essential ones are recommended tasks which can help to improve your skills, so are well worth trying out when you have the time. The optional tasks are still important, but you may not feel you need to do these. If you want to, you can upload evidence of completing these tasks using the upload links provided.

As well as completing the Core Study Skills modules, there are also a selection of other optional study skills courses covering a range of other useful skills and knowledge you may need for college and future life. These courses work in exactly the same way as the Core Study Skills modules.
