It is now possible to make a document, other resource or activity available to just one class group.  If a student is not in the designated class or group they will not be able to see the resource/activity on the course page.  This might be useful if you want to share a mark scheme with one class but not another who have still to do the test.

You, as a teacher, will see the resource or activity with the class group in brackets after the item, in the example below only 3;PDA;B1 would be able to see the document on the course page.

Available for one class

To make a document, other resource or activity just available for one class group:

  1. Turn on editing
  2. Choose to edit-edit settings the resource or activity
  3. In the Common module settings put a tick in the Available for group members only box and then select the class group from the Grouping drop-down list.
  4. Now Save and return to course
