In your dance, I really loves how the first part matched the music so well. I think the timing of the stamping was really precise. I think your jumps were very strong, but I think the preparation for the pirouette needed to be stronger for you to be able to stay up on your leg for longer. I think your eye-line was a little high at points and that some of the the transitions between the ballet style and the contemporary style could have been smoother but I think you improved so much from the first rehearsal and it was very engaging to watch. Really strong start that definitely got the audience’s eye. Good use of space throughout the dance and you had very clear movements! Try focussing on the extension and connecting to the audience more throughout the piece. Also try picking up the pace as there were some moments that felt a bit slower than others and it slowed down the piece. It was a really strong dance and you followed the beat of the music very well!! (ER)
Your rhythm at the beginning and the strength of the stamps was very effective and very well executed. Your jumps throughout the dance too were also very strong, elevated and technically well done! Your arms throughout the piece could be stronger; it was a very strong piece of music so overall needed to feel stronger and more in control. When turning make sure you use the preparation correctly to ensure a stronger pirouette (they lacked a little technique). Overall a great performance!! -FG
Nice turn and rhythm. To improve you should make more eye contacts with the audience ,do bigger moves and try to control your arms more as there were some parts when your arms were quite floppy when they should be locked. Overall I think you improved a lot from rehearsal to performance! (SU)
