In your dance, I think you had wonderful timing. I think it fitted with the music very well and the content of movement was to a cert high standard. You have great extension, you don’t rush the movements. Especially when you are about to perform a bigger movement such as a jump or somersault, make sure you complete the previous movement in and don’t prepare for the next in anticipation. There was an issues with the lighting and space. You had really good use of space, but the light was focused in the centre of the stage which made it difficult to see you at some points. I think your use of eye contact was really effective and overall your performance was very engaging to watch and wonderfully presented. (Millie)
I know nothing about dance but I know about all I know is that you were amazing in a non-dancers eyes. Your flips were amazing and what I really enjoyed, and that made me die backstage, was when you and millie looked at each other when you crossed sides. I wanted to scream because that was so last minute but showed the intensity in your dances and just your talent to be able to improvise like that. It was amazing and I clapped so loud (while the audience were clapping of course) when you finished. (CVDB)
The flips were perfect in technique and so fluidly integrated that they worked really well, lovely variety of pace throughout (which fit with the music perfectly) your eye line quite high sometimes, and I think if you and Millie had more time then, you would have been able to make it more of a duet rather than two solos. That being said, the two solos were wonderful! (LM)
Your so dance was so amazing!! You made the tricks look effortless and your energy was amazing! I’m definitely not a prima ballerina but maybe some more moneys of pause might’ve been a nice moment to connect to the audience with! (MF)
Your flips were really fun to watch and they were technically perfect. Your facial expression was also very engaging and the small movements such as your hand gestures were very effective. I think the flips and tricks did take away from your partner in the duet (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but it definitely drew the audience to look at you more so. Also, there were one or two moments in you dance that looked improvised or you lost your facial expression and looked slightly lost...(could have been the facial expression in the dance. Overall a very strong dance. -FG
I really liked your tricks and you have amazing techniques. To improve I would suggest making more eye contact and doing some partner work with Millie as its a duet. You also over shadowed Millie with the amount of tricks (which were really cool and would make a great solo). You had great rhythm and flow. Overall great job! (SU)
