Catherine and Heathcliff share a raw emotional bond that is insufferably strong. This was shown through during multiple scenes throughout the play they would make strong eye contact and their body language towards each other showed there chemistry and relationship even more clearly than their words
The relationship between Cathy and Hareton at the end of the play was very heart warming as it was the happiness after all the suffering that captivated the audience.
Cathy Linton and Linton's relationship was comedic but also slightly strange considering the fact that they were cousins
The playful sibling relationship between Edgar and Isabella was very strong, a very comedic sibling bond
Catherine and Heathcliffe's relationship was presented as unbreakable, even by death. This was presented immediately by Heathcliffe's reaction to Catherine being at the window and calling her 'my love'. Furthermore, the physical intimacy between them, even though Catherine had died elucidated the extent of their relationship and how they would never be kept apart, even by the constraints of death.
We witnessed Cathy’s emotional behaviour grow as she interacted with Heathcliffe as she became more mature and mentally comforted and developed when with him in contrast to being stubborn and childish around others
Close proxemics were often used to convey intimacy, often with Heathcliff and Catherine. The story contained a complicated network of family and relationships, which was conveyed clearly through a portrayal of misfortune, difficulties, passionate love, and gentle care and affection.
