Week 15 Free Choice Homework
As discussed in previous lessons, the next homework project will provide you with the opportunity to explore a style/movement, which you have successfully explored previously on the course, therefore completing another homework project in a similar style will play to each of your individual strengths.
Each student will have a 1-2-1 with teacher to discuss strengths and areas of interest. The student and teacher will agree on a homework project from a choice of options (choice theory).
Week 15 Homework options:
(1) Collage Making – Henri Matisse
(2) Patterns / Mark Making – Stephen Smith
(3) Typography / Printmaking – Paul Klee
(4) Breaking the Rules in Graphic Design – Peter Bankov
(5) San Serif Typography – Paula Scher
(6) Hand Lettering – Linzie Hunter
Once an option has been agreed, students provided with demonstrations, briefs, instructions and resources for the one week homework project.
